Last updated: 7 October 2026
Britz Blore & Associates Incorporated (“BBA”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This notice explains what personal information we collect through bba.co.za, why we collect it, who we share it with and the rights you have under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect
- Information you give us. When you use our contact form, email or phone us, we receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our service providers collect information about your device and how you use the site, such as your IP address, browser type, approximate location, pages viewed, how you arrived at the site (for example, from a Google ad) and when you visited. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies.
Giving us your details through the contact form is voluntary, but we need your name, email address and message to respond to your enquiry.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
- To keep a record of our contact with you in our client relationship management (CRM) system, so we can follow up on your enquiry and manage our relationship with you.
- To send you newsletters and updates about our services, but only if you have agreed to receive them, or if you are an existing client and the updates relate to similar services. Every message will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time by emailing admin@bba.co.za.
- To understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it.
- To measure and improve our advertising, including showing our ads to people who have visited our site or who are similar to our visitors.
- To meet our legal and professional obligations.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics and Google Ads, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how our site is used and to measure and target our advertising. These services set cookies and collect information about your visit on our behalf. In particular:
- Google signals. If you are signed in to a Google account and have allowed ad personalisation, Google may associate your visit with your account. This helps us understand how people use our site across devices and lets us build advertising audiences, such as people who have visited our site. We only receive aggregated reports and cannot identify you from them.
- User-provided data. If you give us your email address (for example, through our contact form), a hashed (scrambled) version of it may be shared with Google to help measure our advertising more accurately. Google does not receive your email address in readable form.
You can learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can control ad personalisation in Google’s My Ad Center, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads cookies (such as
_ga and _gcl_au) to recognise returning visitors, measure how the site is
used and see which ads lead to enquiries. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The
site will still work without them.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our website and business, and only for the purposes above:
- Google, for analytics, advertising and website hosting (Firebase Hosting).
- Web3Forms, which delivers contact form messages to our email inbox.
- Our CRM and email newsletter providers, where we use them.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Transfers outside South Africa
Some of these providers store and process information outside South Africa. Where they do, we rely on them being subject to laws, binding agreements or policies that give your information a level of protection similar to POPIA.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and manage our relationship with you, and client records for as long as the law and our professional obligations require. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in our Google Analytics account, after which it is deleted automatically.
How we protect it
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, and we require our service providers to do the same.
Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you, and request a copy of it;
- ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, out of date or that we are no longer allowed to keep;
- object to us processing your information, including for direct marketing;
- withdraw any consent you have given us; and
- lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
To make a request, email admin@bba.co.za. We may need to confirm your identity before we respond.
